JULY MEDICAL MISSION – GUATEMALA 2022
This medical/dental team will be traveling to Guatemala to host a medical and dental outreach for people who have limited access to healthcare. The medical and dental outreach will now be offered four times a year to bless the communities we serve.
Another wonderful outreach!
Post from Amy: Cheers to another successful medical outreach week! It is with a “joyfully exhausted” heart that I finish out the blog posts for our July 2022 trip. After many previous experiences and medical teams, I can honestly say this trip was the best of the old and new. Our team consisted of several original members of the medical crew from the first medical trip to Guatemala in 2016. It was so fun
So joyfully exhausted
We saw 113 patients today, some hard visits reminded us that we can do what we can do, and that medicine has limits. Pray for these cases that God would bring healing spiritually and draw people to Himself. From Shawnda: Today was a lot. A lot of patients, a lot of laughs, a lot of tears, but mostly a lot of love. God’s gift, future plans, and a busy day in Antigua!
We had an amazing land dedication service on the land God has given us for our future clinic build! It was a sweet time of worship and prayer and consecrating this project and our plans to the Lord. Post from Austin: In the Shadow of the Mountains Cars, Tuk Tuks, psychedelic buses, mopeds, and motorcycles transport the excited masses throughout the tourist city. One-way sidewalks,

May it rest in peace. We have finished our third day of clinic
A smooth second day!
Day two was smooth thanks to yesterday’s hard work during setup! We were done by 6:30 (although the bus didn't come until 7:30! Eek!) We saw another 92 patients even with one less provider, so our 4 providers were busy! Post by Cait: I am working in the procedure room this week, which basically means I get to do all the really fun (pretty dirty jobs). Normally, patients will come see me to get
Day One.. done!
Praise God for a full and smooth first day of our medical outreach! We saw 92 patients today and are certainly all joyfully exhausted. :) Post by Chloe: As someone who has been around and involved with children for the majority of my life, I thought I was rather prepared to come here and play and interact with the local kids. I came here ready to teach the kids crafts and tell bible stories
