The partnership with Iglesia Galilea and Healing Nations continues as another team is traveling to Guatemala to provide regular care to the children and families at the Fuente de Esperanza school in Membrillal.

From Arleen: By now we have figured out many things: How to get on the bus on time in the morning, how many medicine cups we have, that the last two days are really hard, triage flow, to count vitamins by five, that patients show up at 0100am to see us, we have ultrasound, we have good futbol players, people come with all kinds of problems and that the Guatemalan people are so gracious,
Community Clinic Day!
Wow, what a busy day! We saw close to 150 people at the first community clinic day! There was a long line when the bus arrived and we heard that the first person got there at 1 AM to get in line for clinic. It is humbling to think that this clinic plays such an important role in the health of this community. The clinic is working so well together, like a well-oiled machine!
Church and Sunday Clinic
From Rachelle: Hi friends! Today is Sunday, we had a lovely church service this morning that was translated for us so we could understand. This afternoon we had a small clinic day where we specifically took care of the pastors of the church and their families, as well as our translators and others that have helped us this week. Since you can’t see me crying through the screen, I’m going to share a story.

From Juanita: Second full day in clinic has been completed. It ended with a great game of soccer with several team members and volunteers from the community. For someone who does not like soccer, it was entertaining and a stress reliever for the end of the day.
