iLive Cambodia works in Prek Ho, an impoverished urban community 15 km from the capital city of Phnom Penh. The majority of families live well below the poverty line with many children under the care of grandparents or other relatives because both parents must work. Most often, however, it is the older siblings who have to forgo their education to stay at home to look after the younger ones.
iLive seeks to see the bondage of spiritual darkness and poverty broken by focusing on the next generation, seeing youth who follow Christ and have been discipled wholistically, addressing all areas of life.
iLive Cambodia operates Stars of Peace, a program for children under five and RESTORE for youth between the ages of 12 and 18.
