Pastor Apollon Noel has been ministering in Terrier Rouge since he was 26 years old. Now over 80, Noel has planted more than 20 churches in the area and continues to preach at L’Eglise Baptiste de Terrier Rouge as well as expand the school and provide oversight to pastors and projects in other villages in the area. Noel’s wife, Marie, looks after the operation of a guest house for volunteer teams working in Terrier Rouge and nearby communities. Pastor Marc Tyrell is associate pastor to Noel and assists in the day-to-day operations of the church and school. His Hands For Haiti, another Healing Nations partner, runs a child sponsorship program for the school.
