It’s time for another Guatemala trip to come to an end. This has been such a great trip full of many experiences. This year’s team, even though it is smaller than past teams, seems to have accomplished much more than construction, a couple festivals, and home visits. We have laughed, cried, shared stories, and grown ever closer to God. Each trip is a new experience for me, I have met so many different people and have created relationships that will last forever.
The way that Jesus works in the lives of each team-member is a beautiful thing to watch. He moves in all of us differently, but together he forces us to grow his kingdom with every step we take. Guatemala is such an easy place to notice God, all you have to do is listen. The Guatemalans that we work with have such a love for people that emulates Jesus in a way that I rarely see anywhere else. I will forever love Guatemala because of the people. You can see their love when we are working at the church making concrete and nobody knows what to do but their patience calms everyone and we still get the job done. You can see their love while the festivals are going on and they calmly help us understand what the kids want. Their love is one that overflows, it acts like a magnet that only wants to draw you in closer.
Guatemala has captured my heart in a way that I have never felt before. I am enamored by all the ways that God works, I only hope that I can share this experience with everyone. It changes lives, It changes hearts, but most importantly it grows community. I will forever love my Guatemala community and I hope that when I return I can show God’s love to everyone I meet the same way our partners here in Guatemala do everyday.

It has warmed my heart to read each post and look at every picture. All of your faces radiate with joy! I can’t wait to hear about all that you’ve done & what God has done in your hearts. We can’t wait to have you home but fully understand that you’re leaving a piece of your hearts in Guatemala.
Well said Andrew! May God continue to grow that love for others in all your hearts. Incredible what can happen when we listen. Listen to that still, small voice that has the power to change our hearts and change our world!! ❤️
Beautiful words Andrew!!! You guys have done amazing work in Guatemala and I have enjoyed seeing each and every photo. Safe travels home tomorrow!!!
I have so enjoyed the pictures and updates each day. It is great to get a sense of what is happening. We can’t wait to hear more in person.
It is such an amazing thing to read about how these trips affect you all! And yet, I know what you are able to share in your blogs & even in person, must be just a snippet of all God has done in your hearts & in the hearts of those you are ministering too. I pray that He will continue His good work in you & in the Guatemalan people as each new day passes!
