From Dana: “Today was a wonderful day at clinic! We saw 105 patients. It was a long day though, so I can’t ask anyone to write the blog and then expect them to speak to me tomorrow! So, here is my update.
A girl came to the clinic who was dehydrated and because of her symptoms, we had to treat her outside. She received IV fluids, ibuprofen, and was looking and feeling better in no time! Jenni has the magic touch with pediatric IVs! Also, Flori, our new social worker/counselor met with patients all day. She counseled them, encouraged them, and prayed with them. She is so wonderful! We are so thankful she is willing to counsel the many who are struggling. Since our words are few, here is a picture overload to give you an overview of our day!
Hello to all my friends in Guatemala!! It sounds like clinic days have been full of challenges. While it is challenging and I’m sure your hearts are burdened for all that you are seeing remember “Psalm 94:19 When the cares of my heart are many, Your consolation cheers my soul.” Praying for you all on your last day, for strength of mind and body to finish well!
Thinking of you and praying for you and your patients. God bless you.
Incredible week everyone! You made it through the end of clinic. We cannot thank you enough for all of the hard work and many hours you have spent in order to show people the love of God. Well done! Safe travels back home tomorrow for those of you who are headed back. For those of you who are staying over, may God give you strength and grace in your next endeavor.
Jenni – your family loves and misses you and we are so proud of you!
